Masters of Disasters- Wedding Planners speak at The Special Event

One of my favorite seminars I attended at Special Event was called Masters of Disasters.  It was lead by 3 master bridal consultants in the business speaking on just that, disaster that they have encountered and how that worked through them.  I love hearing these storys.  You never know when this knowledge may be needed.  It's this type of knowledge and the ability to recall and uilize it that separates " the men from the boys" when it comes to competent wedding planners.  Thats when we really earn our keep and you never know at a wedding when that moment will be...but it's almost always there. (Thanks again, Jane, Teddy and Frank.  You guys rocked!)

My Dress Guru

I posted a picture a few days ago of my dress Guru Jane Skarosi. I ran into her briefly at the Special Event. I took her class "Chasing the Train" a few years ago at the ABC Annual conference in Colorado. She is brilliant and gave me so many new tools to work with when it comes to bustles and stains.
