Today I was asked a question I have never been asked before in my 25+ years in the wedding industry.
Our bride was walking around the store in her gown with a beautiful feather fascinator in her hair and she wanted to know the proper etiquette for wearing a feather. You know, she said, "Feather Etiquette".
Since I should know just about everything about wedding etiquette I decided to
take a stab at this and tell my bride to make sure that she doesn't wear it on the side of her
head that she will be leaning against the grooms cheek for the first dance. She doesn't want
to distract him during such a romantic and picture perfect moment. It might also make
him sneeze. So lets put that in your etiquette book under feather etiquette. I will give Peggy Post a
"head's up" for her wedding etiquette book updated edition.
