I ran accross this explanation of lower cost vs higher cost concerning Personalized Aisle Runners. I thought this was great PR for the vendor; educating their clients on the differences. More wedding vendors need to do this on their websites and blogs so we all know what we are getting. During the planning process we get tossed so much information that having it spelled out is so refreshing. Here's the submission from their blog.
Since we offer different types of runners, we thought it'd be fun to do a visual comparison of the most inexpensive vs. the most expensive. Please be advised, our low end runners are available on our sister site, http://www.cwcbudgetboutique.com and our higher end runners are available on our regular website.

First, lets start with the lower cost sheer lace aisle runner. The lower cost runner clearly doesn't lack in the painting quality, but rather the fabric quality. That is not to say the fabric quality is bad, it's just not as strong and doesn't have as man options as some of our other runner types. This sheer lace runner is a very common aisle runner in the bridal market, perhaps the most common for runner customization. As you can see, the monogram is painted well, the lines are clean, there are no smudges or mistakes, etc. This sheer lace aisle runner painted with black and silver paint, or any paint colors you choose starts at $85 for a 25' runner and is only $125 for a 100' runner.

On the other end of the spectrum is the high end luxury runner. The pictured aisle runner is a cheesecake (light ivory) non-slip aisle runner. This aisle runner is made from a strong fabric with a foam backing applied to ensure it will not move. This backing adds to the cost of the runner because of the added protection it provides. In addition to the style of aisle runner, this aisle runner also has numerous options added to it. First, you can see the ribbon border added to the runner. What you may not be able to see is the six rhinestones per foot on each side. In addition to those rhinestones, the monogram initial is done entirely out of rhinestones of varying sizes. In addition, the I's are also dotted with rhinestones. One thing you can notice in both this aisle runner and the budget-friendly sheer lace aisle runner is the quality of painting. Both runners have clean consistent lines (no jagged edges) and are free from stray marks, blurs, etc. This aisle runner also had a phrase placed in the middle of the runner and retailed for just under $1,000 for a 40' runner.
The moral of of this post is for all to understand that whether you pay $100 or $1,000 the quality of our work will not change. You can add options and change fabric, but you will still receive a customized aisle runner done by competent hands that you are sure to enjoy.
