There's lots of advice out there about the places you should go on your honeymoon—but what about the places you should avoid going? To make sure your honeymoon doesn't get ruined by tourist traps, misrepresented resorts, or less-than-luxurious cruise ships, pick up a copy of Don't Go There! The Travel Detective's Essential Guide to the Must-Miss Places of the World, by Peter Greenberg (he's a New York Times best-selling travel author and the travel editor of the Today Show, so he knows what he's talking about). Not only does the book outline which cities to avoid (or at least, what time of year to avoid them--for example, Paris is most crowded from the end of May to the end of September) it also gives helpful advice on which airlines, airports, hotels, and cruise lines will make your vacation less than idyllic. —Lauren Matthews, Associate Editor, Brides.com Magazines
